Way too busy to update. I haven't logged on to LJ in ages. Quick bulleted post:
* Tom bought a house! We spent the weekend painting the living room and the formal dining room.
* We are proud owners of a boston terrier! We're picking up the little fella on Saturday.
* We hit a rough patch sometime in April and May but survived the bumpy ride unscathed. Surprisingly enough, I'm very thankful that we went through it - we're a lot happier, stronger, and, more mature and have a closer bond now.
* I turned 26 in May. I was a bit bitter for passing the quarter century mark. As long as I constantly remind myself that wisdom comes with age, I think I'll be just fine.
* I miss my girlfriends. I miss being silly, petty and just "being a girl" with them.
* I'm getting old and boring. I have about 5 unworn party/going out/hottie short dresses with price tags still attached to them. They look good in my closet. There are times when I have sudden cravings to go out and party with my newly single girlfriends; however, majority of the time I just want to kick back, read a book, watch a movie, go to the museum or enjoy a bottle of wine with T.
* T turned 29 last month. About getting older, I think he explained it best on his myspace blog.

| Hello 2007 |

Last night was my first new year's eve spent away from my family. Tom and I decided to have a low-key NYE celebration and turned down tempting private parties/vip passes/invites from friends. We went out to dinner (italian food and a couple glasses of vino), rented movies and went home.
Back at his place, we polished off a bottle of merlot, had some edam cheese and grapes, watched Dane Cook's A Vicious Circle, and tuned in to CNN to watch the ball drop on Times Square. Fifteen minutes after midnight, we were in deep slumber.
While the rest of my friends are probably cleaning the throw-up off their hair/purses/shoes/whatever or crashed out until later in the day, I'm sitting at home with T, drinking a cup of coffee puke-free and sans hang over.

So I celebrated being well and spot-free with friends last night at Bitter End. Jess also came down to visit from San Francisco. It seems like she never moved away at all since she's here almost every single weekend, that crazy girl.
Too lazy to do a decent update so I'll post pics instead. Leaving in a few for Tom's for late lunch and to watch Entourage/gorge on pizza. I hope I don't relapse.

I'm covered in red spots and sick as a dog. Woe is me.
Just got back from Dallas (thanks Tomster for picking me up from the airport!). It was great to see Yoyo. We did A LOT of catching up and overdosed on mambo taxi margaritas, lychee martinis, several glasses of wine at Tomtom's and Mi Cucina.
